NorthcoteWe support the annual Rotary Kaipātiki Charity Book Fair that not only raises money for local charities, it serves as a major recycling and waste reduction programme for Auckland.

2026 Drop-off Locations:

We encourage people to drop books off to the 24/7 collection locations if they can. There are 3 large (240 litre) labelled recycling bins at each location and these are checked and cleared daily. Collections start Monday 31 August and run until Sunday 27 September at the following Z-Service stations (To be confirmed):

  • Northcote (119 Onewa Road)
  • Sunnybrae (37 Northcote Road)
  • Glen Park (241 Glenfield Road)
  • Lakeside (35 Taharoto Road)
  • Constellation (36 Constellation Drive)
  • Albany (287 Oteha Valley Road)

They Don’t Take:

  • Damaged Books
  • Reader’s Digest (Magazine or Condesnsed Editions
  • Ex-Library Books
  • Encyclopaedia
  • Phone Books
  • Magazines
  • Textbooks
  • Newspapers
