Our Mission Statement

“To provide affordable and educational programmes for all pre-school children in the community, and to encourage and aid children’s personal development.”

Welcome to the Glenfield Early Learning Centre

We opened as a crèche in October 1980. Now we are a not-for-profit Early Learning Centre that provides high quality care and education. All of our staff are passionate about their job and all have a qualification in Early Childhood, with most to a diploma or degree level. We hope that you and your children enjoy your time with us. We welcome children from 1 to 5 years old and are licensed to take up to 8 children under 2 years of age, with a total of up to 30 children per session.

This is where some of wonderful parents and caregivers have kindly agreed to share their feedback about their experience of our Centre so that prospective parents and caregivers can make more informed decisions when enrolling their children with us. This is a growing resource we will add to but if you have any questions, please contact the Glenfield Early Learning Centre Manager directly.

2017 – 2020 Strategic Plan

Our Strategic Plan outlines our Vision, Mission and Values for our Centre. It focuses on what we are planning for the next year, explains our relationship within the greater Glenfield Community Centre context, our Teaching philosophy, and lays our a Results-Based Accountability (RBA) framework for what we want to be, what we do, want we want for our parents/caregivers and what we will measure and report on.

We encourage parents/ caregivers to be part of this process and welcome any feedback you might like to provide us with our our Strategic Plan so that we can continually refine it to improve the lives of people in our community and the performance of our programmes.
